Aloft Manhattan Downtown - Financial District Hotel New York

During our recent stay in downtown Manhattan, we were impressed with the hotel's convenient location near major attractions such as One Trade Centre and the Staten Island ferry. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the comfortable bed and the complimentary coffee in the reception area. The option to store luggage after check-out was a great convenience for our short transit stay. We found the nearby food outlets and shops to be plentiful and enjoyed the decent view of the New York skyline from our room.

As a solo traveler, I found Aloft Manhattan Downtown - Financial District to be a disappointment. Issues with lights, shower, and pillows affected my comfort. However, the pet-friendly policy, location, and shower water pressure were positive aspects. Overall, not my top choice in NYC.

I loved this brand-new hotel and stayed for 1 night here. The room was perfect little with a king bed. That was what I call enjoyable base for short stay.

Front desk staff, particularly Uwani and Zeinab, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel's location is convenient, near shops and the subway. My cozy room was perfect for a solo traveler, but there were issues with room upkeep, cleanliness, and noise isolation.

Our stay here was pleasant, lovely base for exploring New York City. The rooms were brand-new with a king bed and the beds were comfortable.

It's fairly clean, perfect accommodation within 5 minutes' walk of the metro.

The room was small but efficiently designed with good food options nearby. Had some trouble checking in due to missed flight complications, and had to deal with broken amenities and difficulty finding the hotel in the rain. However, the helpful staff made up for the shortcomings.

The location is fantastic with nearby attractions like One Trade Centre and Brooklyn Bridge. The room was clean and comfy, but small with no fridge. Staff were friendly, but the bar was often closed. Close to metro lines. Some areas need upgrading, but overall a decent option in Manhattan.

Oh my gosh, i simply adored the view from our room - it was 😍! the staff was friendly, and the breakfast had limited options but was included. However, the location in a dark alley was a bit off-putting.

Hotel located in a small street 5mn from One World, a subway station, shops, restaurants.... Room on the 12th floor overlooking a very quiet courtyard equipped with a hairdryer, a kettle to make coffee and tea, an excellent bedding. Perfect bathroom with large shower

Let's dish about the delights near Aloft Downtown! The focaccia bread at Augustine is a game-changer. The king bed brought serenity during the bustling 4th of July. Plus, the hotel's street view is a spectacle that's worth savoring.

The location was awesome, close to shops, restaurants, and the subway, and my room, although small, was cozy, modern, and stylish with a spacious shower in the bathroom. The TV had great channels, and the WI-FI worked perfectly. I chilled in the lounge playing games and enjoying the hot chocolate bar, which was a nice touch. 🍫

The Aloft didn't have our reservation when we arrived, but everything recovered quickly.

The location couldn't have been better, close to trains and just a quick stroll to the 911 site; the big king bed was a cozy surprise, and despite being off the beaten path, it turned out to be pleasantly peaceful during the 4th of July. The room, though small, suited us well as we were mostly out and about, and the refreshing cold cucumber water in the lobby was a delightful touch! 🔑

The hotel offered two complimentary drink tickets, which was a nice gesture. the location of the hotel was also great, with key attractions such as the 9/11 Memorial and Wall Street within close proximity. the staff was helpful and accommodating, making our visit memorable.

the room we were given did not have a mini fridge, which was inconvenient as we had snacks and food that needed to be refrigerated.

It was very well located in the financial district near many subway lines. Super well connected. Giant bed and very comfortable. Super attentive and friendly staff and very clean.

The bathroom door was sliding and there wasn't much privacy.

They were very kind, I was coming from the doubletree hilton financial district, they cancelled my room the same day even though I had the reservation 6 months ago. I was left on the street with two little girls and no room. . In this hotel they treated me very well, they compensated me for how badly we were treated in the other hotel. The situation is great, quiet street and with many subway combinations, you can get anywhere in 20 minutes.

I recently stayed at a hotel in downtown Manhattan and had a fantastic experience. Firstly, the location was perfect for exploring the city, as it was just a short walk from many attractions, including Ground Zero and a range of great restaurants. The rooms were modern and clean, offering all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to provide excellent service, even offering me water upon check-in. Additionally, the hotel offered great value for money, with reasonable rates and a convenient pantry for snacks and drinks.

While all aspects of my stay at this hotel were superb, I believe there is always room for improvement in any establishment. However, I couldn't find any faults during my time there.

Always my top choice. Great staff helped with shopping tips. Has everything I need - Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar, fitness studio. Perfect! Coming back for New Year.

The room had a cool design, with a sliding door/mirror for the bathroom, which I really loved. the staff at Aloft were incredibly friendly, and they even recommended some places for food delivery when we arrived late. the rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit on the smaller side, but that seems to be normal for this area. I also appreciated the drybar shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.

The hotel is also conveniently located next to the WTC memorial and getting there from La Guardia airport was a breeze. Additionally, there were some great shopping options nearby, like Century 21 with special sales for mystery card holders. The efficiently designed room, though small, was functional and had all the amenities I needed. The hotel also had good food choices and was within walking distance to the Oculus.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The staff were exceptional, providing the best customer service we could ask for. They were friendly and had a positive attitude, making our trip even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a Christmas card signed by everyone in the hotel, which made us feel like part of the family. Another unique feature was the monitor that provided information about local eateries, allowing us to take selfies and email them to ourselves.
